- Maintel to deliver a modern transformational, reliable and fully interlinked cloud communications solution
- Residents and staff will benefit from improved communications through RingCentral
The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT – the “Trust”) has selected Maintel, the pioneering cloud and managed services company, to identify and deploy a new and improved cloud communications solution. By moving from an older telephony on-premises system to RingCentral’s cloud communications solution, residents and staff at the not-for-profit care provider will benefit from a reliable, feature-rich cloud solution that enables easier and more efficient communication.
The Trust is one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit care providers, providing care services to some of the most vulnerable people in society with 60 residential care homes across the country catering for close to 3,000 residents. The Trust is undertaking this migration as part of its digital transformation programme. Their old on-premise telecommunications system will be replaced to meet increased demands for streamlined communications.
The new solution meets the Trust’s commitment to improve customer services by updating the legacy telephony system, to better support the needs of its residents and clients.
The Trust embarked on a process to select the most appropriate technology solution alongside a reliable partner to design, deploy, and manage a new efficient, reliable, future-ready, and cost effective solution.
Maintel was selected to deliver an enterprise-grade cloud solution with improved call routing and handling capabilities. Maintel therefore identified RingCentral as the only cloud communications vendor that could deliver on all fronts.
RingCentral’s cutting-edge solution will be supported and managed by Maintel and will support the integration of new features and emerging technologies in the future.
John Downer, OSJCT IT Project Manager commented: “This solution will enable us to better connect with our residents and staff across our network of residential care homes in the UK. By partnering with RingCentral, Maintel is helping us transform how our team communicates both with our residents and each other – all within our agreed budget.”
Yogesh Patel, Chief Growth Officer at Maintel said: “We are looking forward to working closely with The Orders of St John Care Trust to help deliver and support the new RingCentral solution. As a trusted adviser, we are committed to ensuring the Trust reap the full benefits of the solution to boost efficiency and improve both their residents and staff, customer experience.”
Tony McNish, Regional Vice President Channel Sales at RingCentral added: “We are pleased to be working with Maintel to provide The Orders of St John Care Trust with a modernised cloud communications solution that will provide a more efficient and user-friendly experience for their staff and residents.”
