Last week, a passionate team from Maintel , including Jason Humphreys, Steve Doyle, Jon Stones and Alex Shephard took part in the Extreme Networks Annual Charity Cycle Ride, riding through the stunning Chilterns Countryside in support of an incredible cause — Dogs for Autism.
With routes of 60, 40, and 20 miles, our team pushed themselves to their limits, all in aid of raising funds for this ground-breaking charity that’s changing lives — one paw at a time.
Dogs for Autism is the first UK charity dedicated to training and providing assistance dogs at no cost to autistic individuals of any age. Their work empowers autistic people to thrive, build confidence, and connect more fully with their communities.
Steve Doyle, Mid Market Account Director commented “Cycling through the Chilterns was a great collaborative challenge. Knowing every mile was helping to fund life-changing support for autistic individuals made every hill worth it. It was an honour to ride for Dogs for Autism and be part of something truly meaningful.”
Anthony Hackett from Extreme Networks commented “It was my absolute pleasure to organise yet another successful Charity Cycling event hosted by Extreme Networks, with support from our distributors Infinigate and Westcon. The whole purpose is to get together for a great day of networking, but with a fabulous cause behind it raising money for charitable causes. To see what we have achieved with the contributions to Dogs for Autism means a lot, and the messages of support on that page is fantastic. I already look forward to next year.”
A huge thank you to our Technical Partner Extreme Networks and Anthony Hackett for arranging this fantastic event! We’re proud to have been part of it — and even prouder to contribute to a mission that makes such a profound difference.
